The CRD abbreviation is derived from "credits" as in "points" to be used in the Pay2Stay app.
1 CRD token = 1 USD.
A Mint Auth Code is your gateway to tokenizing your funds on Pay2Stay.
In two words: “to on-ramp”. A Mint Auth Code allows you to create (mint) CRD tokens.
As much as the amount of CRD tokens you want! Remember, 1 USD = 1 CRD. So if you’re creating 750 USD worth of CRD tokens, it means your Mint Auth Code costs 750 USD (plus processing fees).

Proof-Of-Burn is a digital certificate that verifies that the CRD tokens in your wallet have been burned (i.e. destroyed) on the blockchain.
For you to receive the $ you earned into your bank account, you need your CRD tokens on the blockchain to be burned.
For us to send you the $ you earned to your bank account, we first need to make sure the CRD tokens have been burned on the blockchain. The Proof-Of-Burn gives us certainty that this is the case. Once this is proven, we can gladly send you your $!
When you submit a Proof-Of-Burn for a payout on Pay2Stay, you verify that you’ve burned the same amount of CRD tokens on the blockchain that we will pay out in $ into your bank account.
Submitting a Proof-of-Burn for a refund allows you to receive a refund for a previous Mint Auth Code purchase which gets credited back into your bank account.

At Pay2Stay, we will never ask you to send us CRD tokens for us to credit your bank account. We do not make any transmission or transfer of funds. For funds to be credited into a Pay2Stay user’s bank account, the user understands that they have to burn CRD tokens on their own behalf. We then credit their bank account with the value of CRD tokens burned.
